SUMMARY:Miami Sound Space
DESCRIPTION:An evening of communal singing\, with a special program by Miami Sound Choir. Choir master Laurah Mersier invites us to break down barriers\, build bridges\, and spread joy and unity through music. Miami Sound Space is a community choir collective of\, for\, and by Miami. The group has as its mission to combat community deterioration through community singing opportunities\, and offers four core programs: Miami Sound Choir (a radically inclusive adult community choir)\, The Bluebirds (a men’s choir for incarcerated singers)\, Threshold Singers (who provide bedside singing to those nearing life’s end)\, and Lullaby & Life (a parent and baby choir). The North Beach Social\, Third Thursdays\, is a free monthly meet up for music lovers at the Bandshell\, presented by Rhythm Foundation with support from the City of Miami Beach.
